Full Biography:  

Jason received a B.S. degree in Computer Science and a B.E. degree in Computer Engineering from a joint dual degree engineering program between New York University and Stevens Institute of Technology in 2005.  Jason received a J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2010, where he was vice president of the Intellectual Property Tech Society and a participant in the intellectual property certificate program.  Jason is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to the New York State Bar. He is also an active member of the Patent Law and Practice Committee of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association. Prior to joining Ryan, Mason & Lewis, Jason worked as Assistant General Counsel in the Intellectual Property & Innovation Division of Cantor Fitzgerald, LLP.  Jason practices primarily in the areas of patent and trademark prosecution, infringement and freedom-to-operate searching and opinions, and client counseling in a wide range of intellectual property matters. Jason’s practice encompasses mechanical, electrical, and computer-related technologies including blockchain technologies, machine learning, natural language processing, supply chain management, big data analytics, SaaS, cloud computing, cloud-IoT (Internet of things) interactions, microprocessor control logic, data storage systems, consumer electronics, multi-function printers, digital cameras, image processing devices, image processing and facial recognition algorithms, virtual reality devices, digital data communications, semiconductor fabrication,  material stress testing, electronic trading systems and software, financial instruments, electronic trading algorithms, fixed and mobile gaming devices, systems, and software, mobile gaming location and identity verification systems and software, online gambling and gaming, fantasy sports, medical devices, electrosurgical generators and generator algorithms, electrosurgical devices (RF, microwave, and ultrasonic), surgical staplers, surgical clip appliers, endoscopic surgical devices, bronchoscopes, ventilators, wound protectors, surgical access ports, user interfaces for virtual bronchoscopy, pathway planning, and ablation planning.
