David received a J.D. degree, cum laude from the University
of Pennsylvania Law School in 2006 and a B.A. degree magna cum laude and
with departmental honors in Computer Science from CUNY-Hunter College in 2003.
He also holds certificates of study from the Wharton School of Business and the
CUNY Institute of Software Design and Development. During law school,
David served as a Senior Editor of both the University of Pennsylvania Law Review
and the Journal of Law and Social Change, a summer associate at
LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP, a summer intern for U.S. District Judge Barbara S.
Jones of the Southern District of New York and a research assistant
to Prof. Christopher S. Yoo of Vanderbilt University Law School.
During college, David served as Head Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in
Computer Science at both Duke University and CUNY-Hunter College.
Additionally, he worked as a programmer for several major firms and
innovative startups in the financial services and telecommunications
industries in New York City and Long Island. David is admitted to
practice law in both New York and Connecticut. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar
Association, the New York City Bar Association and the New York County Lawyer’s Association.
He has been a member of the Association for Computing Machinery,
the New York Software Industry Association and the New York New Media Association.
